Which Wear Ring Materials Should Be Used in Pneumatic Cylinders?

Pneumatic systems generally do not have a complete lubrication system. It is therefore essential to select materials with good wear resistance and self-lubricating properties. All seals and guide rings used in pneumatic cylinders should be made from materials containing lubricating additives, such as carbon-filled PTFE or PE. These materials can substantially extend the service life of seals and guide rings.
