Seal service life depends on many operating conditions, including the number of working hours per day. Running machinery 24 hours a day can shorten seal life. The number of operating cycles, heat and the cleanliness of the oil in the system also affect each seal. Because these factors vary, there is no single fixed figure for seal service life.
