SPECSEAL Love Earth Day: Planting Trees to Care for the Earth
SPECSEAL organized a conservation tree-planting activity at Tham Khao Pun, Kanchanaburi, on Sunday, 9 November 2008. The event aimed to help address global warming and restore nature and the environment, following Her Majesty the Queen’s concern for Thailand’s forests.
Participants planted trees for charity, enjoyed lunch on a raft along the Khwae Noi River, visited the impressive filming site for the King Naresuan film series, and stopped at the Bridge over the River Kwai, an important historic landmark on the Death Railway.
Participation fees raised 102,688 baht. Together with SPECSEAL’s contribution, the company reported a total donation of 206,000 baht to the Foundation for the Environment to help conserve Thailand’s shared natural resources and environment.
SPECSEAL thanks everyone who joined this charitable tree-planting activity and wishes all participants and their families lasting happiness and prosperity.
